Why do I need Jesus?

I need Jesus because he loves me and wants to have a relationship with me. The Bible says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” Hebrews 13:8. Jesus can take away old sins and failures and wipe them away and give us a new beginning. Jesus is always with you when others are long gone. No matter what you go thru Jesus is always with you. He holds me in his hand safe and secure – today, tomorrow and for eternity. His Word says “For I know the plans I have you…plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray I will listen” (Jeremiah 29:11-13 TLB).

Can I have a relationship with God?

Having a personal relationship with God begins the moment we realize our need for Him, admit we are sinners, and in faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior. God, our heavenly Father, has always desired to be close to us, to have a relationship with us. Before Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3), both he and Eve knew God on an intimate, personal level. They walked with Him in the Garden and talked directly to Him. Due to the sin of man, we became separated and disconnected from God. God sent his only Son Jesus to redeem us back to him.

What does it mean to be saved?

“Saved” in the Christian religion means that you have asked Jesus to come into your heart, you have confessed with your mouth and believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and that God raised him from the dead, and the bible says thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9-10. It means that your sins have been washed away by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and that when you accept him into your heart you now have access to forgiveness for your sins by prayer.

“28 So God has appointed some in the church [f]for His own use]: first apostles (special messengers); second prophets (inspired preachers and expounders); third teachers; then wonder-workers; then those with ability to heal the sick; helpers; administrators; (speakers in) different (unknown) tongues. “-1 Corinthians 12:28, Amplified Bible

What is Church Administration? It is a gift from God. Training can equip you, but God is the only one who can call and empower you to serve effectively in whatever your role is in church administration. Church administration is spiritual service to the Body of Christ which involves the wise stewardship of God’s resources for the accomplishment of the work of ministry. Church administration is a means for serving people effectively, while making efficient use of resources in a manner that glorifies God. The Administrative Ministries of Fountain of Living Waters Church are as follows:

Church Governing Procedures, Church Historian, Deacons, Executive Board, Pastoral Care, Sound/Audio, Trustees, Ushers

Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Church growth is spreading the good news of Jesus Christ in more ways and to more people than ever before. People must experience the life-changing message of God’s love and the wholeness that comes from living within His love. Fountain’s mission is to not only promote growth inside the walls of the actual church building starting with the transformation of individuals but also outside the walls of the building, in the space of the world and in people’s lives. We are change agents that live our faith throughout our daily lives, beyond the church’s physical walls. We realize Church becomes an action verb as we tell of the Goodness of God. We recognize through the journey of life that we cannot cheat God by keeping His Goodness to ourselves. The Church Growth Ministries of Fountain of Living Waters Church are as follows:

Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The Ecclesial Ministry is to help build up the body of Christ through sharing His Word through teaching. We are only effective, if we verbally share God’s Word in ways that hold the interest, fit the age level, accurately represent God’s intent, and encourage the people to do something with what they learn. We must help them know to, love, follow and serve Jesus and become more like Him in all they say and do. We must not only tell the people what they need to know but also demonstrate it by our lives through actions, attitudes and words.
